Jayden Mongiove is a 2025 C/RHP/MIF with a 5-3 110 lb. frame from Port Saint Lucie, FL who attends Treasure Coast. Smaller young build with lots of growing ahead of him. 9.24 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher works hard behind the plate and has an idea of the fundamentals, stays on line on his throws and makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Also played the middle infield with the same attributes. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a deep and busy hand load, gets to his front side well, hand hitch can throw off his timing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. Also pitched, high leg lift delivery with a compact arm action and high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 64 mph, did a nice job of landing a mid-50's curveball for strikes and showed confidence in the pitch, also threw an occasional change up. Graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Good student.
