2023 Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Michael Daniel is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Tall, athletic build. 7.25 runner in the sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, under control throughout the charge, works through the ball with a clean funnel on the side of the frame, arm works well to a higher release point, creates tons of carry out of the hand and has a big arm. Online throws recorded up to 87 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, side steps to a belt high lift out of the windup, full arm swing in the back to a three quarters slot, fastball sits in the mid-80s with good ride through the zone. Changeup shows heavy arm-side fade in the upper-70s (1351 RPM) and also flashed a curveball, up to 68 mph (1934 RPM). Held velocity through the outing, athletic right-hander with good present stuff and more to project on. Right-handed hitter, good rhythm to the swing, stays short and simple with good length through the zone, gets the barrel extended with ease and showed tons of pull-side pop. Ball jumps off the barrel, showed big strength and easy bat speed. Good student. Named to 2023 Summer Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
