Alex Pollmiller is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 5-11 143 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Assumption. Ran a 7.61 second sixty-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher with tall and slender frame. Starts from the windup with a bigger side step into a leg lift that reaches just above the belt. Has slight drop and drive actions down the mound, landing slightly closed before coming across the body to create a very tough look for left-handed hitters. Has a long and loose arm action from a high three-quarter slot, creating some good extension over the front side. Repeats the delivery well, and has developing command of the zone with a fastball at 72-to-77 miles per hour, and mixes speeds well with a slow-spinning curveball in the mid-60s. Curveball has 11-5 shape and average depth, showing the ability to land it for strikes when needed.
