Evan Brown is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Waukesha, WI who attends Waukesha West. Primary RHP with a medium sized frame and good athleticism. Delivery goes to a leg raise above belt and coils the front leg which causes some deception in the delivery. Hides the ball well to the point of release. Works in line well throwing from a high 3/4 slot with a pretty quick arm rearing back with a full arm swing. Fastball played firm with late life through the zone and was up to 84. He could locate east to west well with this pitch. Went to a shorter curve with 11-5 shape and late bite. Has shorter depth to it but could locate it well at times. Also mixed in a slider with more sweeping action to it. Flashed a change as well to lefties. Could sequence all these pitches nicely and has a good idea on how to pitch out there. Projectable. Excellent student.

Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
