2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Truitt Stafford is a 2028 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends North Cobb Christian. Lean, athletic build with room to add on more muscle and strength to the frame in either half. Ran a 6.81 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, slight side saddle stance, gains ground well, solid carry down to the bag with throws reaching 82-mph and a best pop time of 1.92, solid mover and mechanical foundation. Secondary infielder, developing transfer, arm plays well from the left side of the dirt, gets to good spots and can make the plays. Right-handed pitcher, full wind-up with a quick belt high leg lift, slight coil and works downhill, high three-quarters slot with a medium arm action, 11-5 curveball flashed along with a change in the low 70's band both landed fro strikes, heavy action to the fastball that reached 85-mph. Left-handed hitter, clean operation and swing, smooth clean path to contact, on the barrel a good bit in his round and hit in game action as well, good angles and swing with the ability to get the ball into the air to his pull-side, good quality of contact throughout the round. Outstanding student. Named to the 2025 PG National Underclass Showcase - Main Event Top Prospect List.
