Peter Mershon is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Taylors, SC who attends Eastside. Recorded a 6.51 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders, lots of athleticism, and solid projection remaining. Primary catcher with accurate throws and gains ground well. Exchanges are clean and recorded a sub-2.00 second pop during drills. Also worked out in the outfield where the athleticism shone. Right-handed hitter with lift to the path and good rhythm to the hands. Solid bat speed with the ability to impact the ball to both halves of the field. Crushed balls in game with several in game exits over 100 EV. Combination of hit tool with flashes of power backdropped by the athleticism is excellent. Great student. Selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
