2006 Ohio Valley Top Prospect Showcase
Bo Delande is a 2007 C/3B/OF with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Hilliard OH, who attends Hilliard Davidson. Delande has a nice body with an athletic build. Defensively, Delande has a live arm with carry on his throws down to second base. He has some length to his transfers which can be shortened up a bit to quicken up his pop time. He moves well behind the plate and receives well. At the plate, Delande starts with a medium base and uses a short stride to start his swing. He has a good load and has some bat wrap at load. Delande throws the bat head to the baseball and uses his hands well in his swing. He has present gap to gap power and will hit with more power as he learns to get more out of his legs in his swing. Delande has a line drive swing path with bat speed. He is also a good student.
