Jonathan Mangeri is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Airmont, NY who attends Suffern Senior. Mangeri works from a medium projectable build with additional room to fill out and add strength. Starting on the mound, worked from the middle of the rubber displaying a balanced, low effort operation releasing from a high 3/4 slot up to 74 mph. Has room to deepen the arm path and further increase velocity potential. Did a nice job of creating drive down the hill, working into the lower half effectively. CB displayed true 12-6 shape with developing spin profile up to 1621 rpm. CH killed spin successfully at 1250 rpm. Projects well in the future. At 1B, displayed a clean fielding funnel with room to get more aggressive in the footwork and attack the baseball. Showcased quickness to turns, ultimately topping out at 63 mph across the diamond. Offensively, started from an even base with a compact hand set, flashing a simple stride into contact. Attempted to work all parts of the field with room to get the barrel out and generate impact out in front. Posted an exit velo of 73 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
