Dylan Walther is a 2022 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 186 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Heritage. Ran a 7.69 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall and athletic build. Works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg lift and drop and drive actions down the mound. Gets to extension well and has good linear direction at foot strike. Compact arm stroke with some stiffness, coming through and releasing from a high three-quarter slot. Repeats the delivery well. Commands the fastball well at 70-73 miles per hour, and pairs it well with a sinking changeup that misses a lot of bats at 66 miles per hour. Secondary first baseman that has a deeper funnel and long arm action to throws. Has some developing arm strength with accurate throws to bases at 70 miles per hour. Most comfortable when coming off the bag. Worked out at shortstop as well with some stiffer actions and developing athleticism. Makes accurate throws. At the plate, has a spread stance with a rock back load. Has good shift into contact with a middle of the field to pull side approach. Very consistent hitter. Excellent student.
