2025 PG Pittsburgh Indoor Showcase
Eric McAllister is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Dysart, PA who attends Altoona Area. Strong athletic build. 7.65 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, moves well for his size and works through the ball, can throw on the run, good glove actions and handled his back hand cleanly, some arm strength and carry from a short and compact 3/4's arm action/slot. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow upright stance with a high hand load and a long stride into contact, swings hard and is looking to pull the ball, has good strength at contact along with some lift in his swing. Also pitched, works from an abbreviated wind up with good hip coil over the rubber, gets down the slope well and repeats his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, has thrown harder at previous PG tournaments. Sold his change up well with some fade that created swing/miss. Curveball was a sweeping sluve with good depth. Good feel for pitching. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
