Hayden Waller is a 2027 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-6 137 lb. frame from Mount Olive, NC who attends Southern Wayne. Medium athletic build. Very good runner, 7.21 in the sixty. Shows very good range in the outfield, breaks quickly to balls and can run them down in the gaps from centerfield, has a full arm action with some carry on his throws. Also plays first base and is very athletic there, type of athlete who would probably play shortstop if he was right handed. Left handed hitter, has quick hands and good feel for the barrel, creates bat speed with present gap to gap power, creates some lift out front in his swing, can get off time with a big hand load backwards that he can cut down and simplify. Also pitched, slow to fast delivery with a long arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot, arm can get left behind at times. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, showed some spin on his curveball. Named to the 13U Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
