Alan Zimmerman is a 2028 2B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends Foundation Academy. Features a taller/lean build with present athleticism and projection. Ran a 6.97 60-yd dash. In the OF, his athleticism was present through his actions. Attacks it well getting around and through while maintaining speed/momentum into reception. Fields it clean and out front with some quickness to release where he got off downhill throws with above avg. strength for his level with accuracy. At SS, showed some feel for the position. Moved with urgency with good footwork which allowed him to work through the baseball well to the forehand and backhand side. Clean glovework with some hands at reception. Arm worked to a lower slot where he showed above avg. strength across for his level. At the plate, sits in a wider base and uses a simple forward move with smaller takeback of hands/barrel. Some early length to the barrel at entry but turns it through on a clean path with some quality bat speed. Stays behind it consistently showing good balance. On-barrel a majority of the round where he produced quality LDs/FBs to the middle of the field with several deep into the gaps. Easy to project some future power here.
