Cross Dennard is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Denmark. Features a medium-sized build with some projection. Ran a 7.79 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed developing actions. Choppy footwork with avg. speed/quickness that maintains into reception where he is on his heels. Glove works a bit late in getting down with some stab at times but with intent of out front reception. Slight regather into throws where he showed above avg. strength across with some accuracy. At the plate, sits in a medium base and uses a simple up/down leg lift with minimal forward move with hands that stay neutral. Barrel gets thrown on a direct path to the baseball with a higher finish. Leans back a tad at contact. Some inconsistent barrel feel throughout his round due to some deeper/late points of contact. Present hand/bat speed where he flashed quality impact at times to the middle of the field. On the mound, showed a clean operation. Side steps into a mid-chest knee lift where he engages well with back-hip. Uses his lower half well as gets down the mound with some easy pace and with good direction. More hand-lead arm path out the glove that works with looseness/armspeed to release out of a normal 3/4 slot. Ran the FB up to 83 that flashed some cut to the armside at times. Mixed in both a CB and LS. CB exhibited more slurvy shape in the upper 60s and his SL stayed more true with quality depth in the low 70s.
