2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
Breydon Divine is a 2023 SS/3B, OF with a 6-0 152 lb. frame from Winston, GA who attends Alexander. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.52 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, showing off his athleticism proving to have lateral range while being light on his feet. Clean gather out front with feel for the leather present. Extra steps into transfer and release before letting it eat. Throws up to 93 mph across the diamond. Plenty of tools to work with and projects here long term. Secondary Outfielder, quick first step working into it with urgency while under control. Clean one hand gather before transferring and showing off the arm. Throws up to 92 mph with long carry. Right-Handed Hitter, narrow and slightly closed off to start. Works into a lower leg lift to stride before landing balanced. Hips and hands work well together generating easy bat speed. Fluid stroke with natural loft, proving he could leave the yard during his round. Found the barrel with every cut and proved to be well-rounded in the box. Great Student.
