McCoy "Moose" Marksbury is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Fairfield High School. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Works from a big hip turn delivery with a belt high leg raise, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with some carry through the zone and occasional glove side cutting action. Power curveball was a good pitch with late sharpness, also showed a solid change up with good arm speed and some fading life. Has a three-pitch starter's mix and the ability to throw strikes. 7.75 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, showed his arm strength well, big gather into his throws and max effort thrower that impacts his accuracy. Right handed hitter, sets up in and open stance with a short close into his swing, good rhythm in his approach, has solid bat speed and some feel for the barrel, has hitting tools to develop as a two-way player. Good student. Named to the PG Ohio Valley Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
