2024 Sunshine Southeast Showcase
Amari McCoy is a 2025 SS/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.51 in the sixty. Smooth mover in the middle infield on defense, plays under control with balance and pace, arm strength may move him to second base or center field, middle of the field defender and athlete. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short rock back load and strong move to his front side, can get mistimed and out of sync with his swing mechanics, flashes raw power when he's barrelled up with more power there with adjustments. Developing the bat will be key to his baseball future. Very good student. Named to the Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
