2022 PG Underclass All-American Games
Rex Pendergrass is a 2024 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Dayton, TN who attends Rhea County. Athletic build with plenty of strength potential. Right handed hitter, stands well off the plate, strides closed with a hanging leg raise trigger, gets his foot down on time, turns hard and tight with his hips, creates some bat speed and hits with intent, line drive swing plane, best when he's getting fully to his front side. Primary third baseman on defense, has good hands and moves into the ball well, quick glove to hand exchange, throws well from lower slots, throws from an over the top slot when he has the time and gets some carry across. Good student.
