Ashton Brown is a 2029 OF/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Sprayberry. Medium, slender frame with plenty of quick twitch athleticism and plenty of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 6.99 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a developing defensive skill set. Comes and gets it with good pace, fields off his front foot and maintains some momentum into a segmented arm action. Showed efficient movements into release and produced accurate throws up to 66 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that this from a slightly wider and open base with a tight hand set and high back elbow. Incorporates a negative toe-tap trigger for timing and a lofted swing path. Developing feel for the barrel with some compact hand speed and some looseness to his hands. Will continue to improve with proper timing refinements along with consistent barrel depth. Plenty of physical projection remaining, added strength will enhance overall skill set.
