Damon Sarceno is a 2008 RHP/3B with a 5'11", 175 lb frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Fort Myers HS. Damon has an athletic build with a strong lower half. On the mound Damon throws with a short compact arm action with a low effort delivery that he repeats well. Damon has a good feel for how to change speeds and locates his pitches well. His best off-speed pitch is a solid 11 to 5 curveball. He tends to open up early at times and could probably add some velocity if finished online with the plate. At the plate Damon shows signs of quality hitting tools. He has solid bat speed and extension to square up balls but gets in trouble when he sweeps under balls. Damon has a good feel for pitching and could attract the attention of some mid-level college programs.
