Matthew Berry is a 2026 C/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Frankfort, IN who attends Frankfort. Slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a right knee down stance, has quick feet and gets into position to throw and block, can quicken his exchange and release, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, starts from a straight stance with a knee lift trigger and short stride into his swing, can get late getting his foot down at times, has some hand quickness and can impact the ball pull side and up the middle when he's on time. Has the athleticism to keep improving on both sides of the ball with additional strength. Good student.
