Ryan Taran is a 2026 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Larger build with both strength and athleticism present. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball with urgency and works through it well. Fields it properly off of his front foot with soft hands. Utilizes a bigger separation into a high three-quarters release. Delivered accurate throws while recording arm strength up to 85 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow stance with tight hands and a high back elbow. Utilizes a simple stride and deep hand load for timing. Limited lower-half usage in the operation. Generates easy leverage at impact when timed up. Has intriguing strength in the barrel. Posted an exit velocity of 88 mph. Ran a 6.74 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
