Chandler Koffel is a 2020 RHP/IF with a 6-2 179 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Mansfield Timberview. Large frame with a strong and projectable build. Ran a 7.18 second 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery into a belt high leg lift. Stays in line down the mound. Works through a short and compact arm action and into a three-quarter arm slot. Creates downhill plane on the fastball at 84 MPH. Works the curveball in later in counts with the ability to land it for strikes. Also worked out defensively as a secondary infielder. Fields with a deeper funnel in. Clean glove actions when centered and when moving to the sides. Deliberate take back with a strong arm across the diamond on throws topping out at 87 MPH. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and sweeping leg lift trigger. Line drive swing plane with a short path into the zone. Middle of the field line drive contact. Good student as well. Named to the 2019 South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
