Cayden Burch is a 2022 2B/SS/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from McGregor, TX who attends Midway. Ran a 7.40 second sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with a medium frame and slender build. Footwork is consistent, allowing for consistent positioning and glove actions. Has a clean backhand with developing arm strength that will improve as the frame matures. Makes accurate throws across the diamond at 67 miles per hour. Has a slightly open stance from the left side of the plate, with an open, hanging load before shift into contact. Has a simple swing after getting the foot down, and shows the ability to work gap-to-gap with a line drive swing plane. Swing plays in game action, recording a backside single to left field. Excellent student.
