Steven Squires is a 2029 RHP/C/UT with a 5-7 115 lb. frame from Columbia, MO who attends Rock Bridge. As a primary RHP, Squires started out of the windup and created drive down the mound nicely while working in-line towards the plate. He commanded the strike zone well and utilized an up tempo pace to keep hitters uncomfortable in the box. Breaker displayed 11-4 action up to 1445 rpm. FB topped out at 64 mph. From the IF, fielded cleanly out in front with overall smoothness to actions. Should see arm strength improve as the frame fills out and physically develops. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open and more upright stance, producing consistent contact to the pull side of the field. He made an effort to stay on top of the baseball with intent to get the barrel out in front. Ran a 9.83 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
