2023 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 12)
Egan Lowery is a 2023 C/SS with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from McCalla, AL who attends McAdory. Primary catcher with a strong athletic build. Showed plus speed with a 6.68 second sixty. Showed good game-like actions sitting in a deeper stance as he receives the ball. Gets out of the crouch well with proper footwork as he gains some ground into the throws. Arm strength is present with carry on the throws creating carry with accuracy to second base with a 1.90 second pop time at his best. Left-handed hitter starts with a wider base using a leg lift trigger to get on time. Hands and barrel are on time out front with loud linear contact working best to the middle of the field and pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
