Griffin Rose is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Eads, TN who attends Briarcrest Christian. Atheltic built infielder with savvy actions on the dirt. He preps well working comfortably to his right. There is an ability to get himself in proper fielding position funneling the ball into the chest and delivering accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, he sets up with a wide spread base and slightly open front side. The bat works on a linear path gaining quality extention to the point of contact with present bat speed. As he fills out and adds strength he will get a better feel to impact baseballs. On the mound, he operates with moderate leg kick and three-quarters slot, high effort thrower with ability to pound the strike zone to both sides of the dish. He landed the curveball at will, with usable depth and tight spin. He induced plenty of swing and miss throughout two quality innings of work. 7.42 60 yard. Great student. Selected to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
