Roberto Alvarez is a 2024 OF/RHP, LHP, C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MIF, IF, UT, BHP with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends True North Classical Academy. Medium, lean build with room to continue adding strength. Good runner, recorded a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, has a bounce to the actions, athletic movements to the ball, fields it with one hand on the side of the body, long arm action to a high release point. Stays under control throughout, carries momentum through throws, accurate around the bag with carry. Recorded throws up to 81 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base, hands tight to the body and a high back elbow in the stance. Flat path through the zone, gets downhill at times, impacts the ball well to the opposite field. Will continue to grow into power as he adds strength onto the frame. Had a double in game action, as well. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works with a quick tempo, compact arm action to a three-quarters slot. Stays balanced over the rubber, fields the position well, fastball heavy diet. Rushes the mechanics at times. Fastball up to 73 mph (1802 RPM). Good student. Named to 2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.
