Jose Silva Quinones is a 2025 SS/C/IF with a 5-10 177 lb. frame from Fajardo, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Strong and physical athletic build. Right handed hitter, has good lower half mechanics and uses his legs well to generate bat speed, consistently gets the barrel out front and drives the ball, ball comes off the barrel hard and showed the ability to lift the ball, nice hitting tools to continue to develop. 6.71 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, hands are his best defensive tool, has quick hands the field the ball cleanly, throws have some carry from an over the top arm slot, range and lateral footwork best suited for third base at the next level. Excellent student. Named to the Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier Top Prospect List.
