2004 Underclass National Showcase
Christopher Hart -- Hart is a primary position junior outfielder from Maryland who also threw 4 innings during the showcase. Hart has a medium frame and good strength, especially in his hands and arms. He hits from a narrow stance with soft, short stride and a level, line drive type of swing that hits to all fields. Hart threw 83 mph from the outfield during the workout but only topped out at 78 mph and was mostly 74 mph off the mound. Hart threw a ton of strikes with his fastball and 67-71 mph curveball and also mixed in a straight change and knuckleball. He looks like a good defensive outfielder who can throw and hit. He’s a good student.
