Gavin Gallegos is a 2026 3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from La Habra, CA who attends Whittier Christian HS. Started the event off clocking a 7.56 60-yard dash. A primary third baseman. Shows fundamental actions. Clean round defensively. Average footspeed/quickness but got to his spots and fielded in rhythm. Glovework showed well to the forehand and backhand side with intent to work through it. Worked quick to release and uses a longer arm action that got off easy effort throws across with accuracy clocking 75. At the plate, sits in a wide base. Uses a short/simple move showing minimal waisted movement. Hands work into a higher set. Barrel path is more direct to the baseball, trying to lift at contact with a high finish. Best results in BP were some hard line drives to the left center field gap. Excellent student
