Grady Gorgen is a 2020 OF/LHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Mineral Point, WI who attends Mineral Point. Ran a 7.60 second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and slender build. Has longer strides to an aggressive close, coming through the ball well and gaining good momentum into throws. Footwork is clean through the approach and gather, with efficient transitions into a long arm action and clean arm path to throws. Has present arm strength with accurate carry to bases, making throws up to 84 miles per hour. Has an upright and slightly open stance at the plate, with a high back elbow and short leg lift trigger. Has some present barrel speed to go with a line drive barrel plane, working through the middle of the field in the approach. Approach stays true in game action, with hits coming on the ground through the middle of the field. Secondary left-handed pitcher, starts from the windup with a small side to a belt high leg lift. Stays slightly flexed at the top, using drop and drive actions to create good linear direction down the mound. Has loose arm action with good arm speed, getting good extension over the front side. Fastball at 78-to-80 miles per hour has some good run to the arm side, and pairs well with the curveball that has 1-to-7 shape and sharp break. Has good feel for the zone with that pitch and is able to get a lot of swing and miss.
