James Killough is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Winters, TX who attends Winters. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Hides the ball well as he reaches down and back along his body line. Small gather step into a high leg lift. Good direction down the hill with an extended release out in front. Fastball sits 80-83 mph while touch 84 mph. Locates to all four quadrants with intent. Mixes in a a good 11-to-5 shaped curveball with solid depth to the plate. Best secondary is his changeup at 72 mph. Changeup is the out pitch with some slight fade to the plate as well as a mature looking arm action on the pitch. Mixes heavily, good student in the classroom as well. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
