Ryan DelSordo is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Hillsborough, NJ who attends Somerset Co Voc Tech. Broad, stronger looking frame with present lower half strength and room to add. Recorded an 8.00 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a belt high leg lift and shorter stride down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 80 mph from a lower three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with ability to navigate both sides of the plate, while showing feel for spin and the aptitude to change the shape of his breaking ball at times. Will continue to improve with proper refinements mechanically and additional velocity. Secondary infielder with deliberate actions throughout the fielding process. Displayed a clean funnel out in-front, works uphill into release and recorded arm strength up 70 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even base with an exaggerated high hand set, high back elbow and inward toe-tap trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics into contact, a compact swing path and some impact when on-time. Whole field approach with best impact through the middle-of-the field, will continue to improve with further involvement of his lower half and proper swing adjustments. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
