Tommy Chiappetti is a 2023 MIF/RHP, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Buckeye, AZ who attends Verrado. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.77 seconds. Primary middle infielder, plays with tempo and pace, good footwork with balance and clear athleticism, hands work out front, clean transfer, quick release with zip and carry on throws, clocked up to 86 mph. Also threw 90 mph from the outfield. Pitched as well, offline through the back, solid timing, gets to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 80-84 mph with heavy life, shorter slider that plays well off of sinker, flashed a promising split-change as well. Hits from even-based stance, bars hands back into load, quick bat on flat path, covers the plate, projects with more strength. Excellent student, named to 2021 Sunshine Southwest Top Prospect List.
