Dan Labrozzi is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Sag Harbor, NY who attends Pierson. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a high waist, long and lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, stays back on the ball, fields it out front, can incorporate additional footwork into actions, works around the bag with throws and shows ability to drop slot, longer arm action through the back with an extra step through the ball. Also pitched, works to a high three-quarters release point and generates life to his fastball while working mostly down in the zone, induces ground ball contact. Gets rotational with lower half at times, lands breaking ball for strikes and works around the zone well, curveball varied in shape, showed downer life when on top. Righthanded hitter, begins with a bent knee stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; hands lower into load and carries them low through swing. Linear path through the zone, mostly pull side contact, upper body dominant swing and can continue to incorporate additional lower half, projects with strength. Good student.
