Ryder Pollard is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Lecanto, FL who attends Lecanto. Slender young build. 7.23 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has good footwork through ball and rounds it well, light on his feet with bounce to his actions, fields the ball effortlessly and gets rid of it quickly, natural middle infield actions. Right handed hitter, starts from an open stance with an early tap in and stride, line drive swing plane with a middle of the field line drive approach, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Also pitched, has a well paced full wind up with a medium length arm action to a 3/4's release and some energy at release. Threw strikes with a a fastball that topped out at 79 mph to go with a slow curveball with some depth. Defense will be his carrying tool. Very good student.
