Zachary Fugate is a 2029 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Woodford County. Good looking frame with lean, wiry current muscularity and all sorts of time and room to make gains in the future. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.47 seconds. Primary position OF, attacking the ball, getting into his angles quickly and playing it game like. Works the glove accurately into transfer where he gets a bit upright before release. Full arm path working through an over-the-top arm angle to high release, separating well and generating throws up to 81 mph accurately back to bags. Secondary LHP, working from a belly high leg lift before transition as he lands a touch closed at foot strike. Medium arm path in the back accelerating through a standard 3/4 arm angle. Operates with nice tempo and shows comfort on the bump. FB up to 81 mph with good spin traits creating ride through the zone. Sweeping breaking ball with 2,500+ rpms and landing it for strikes at will. CH is an emerging pitch that will play against RHHs to finish off a quality set of pitches. RHH starting with a more narrow and upright stance, tight handset with good rhythm pre-pitch. Small negative toe-tap trigger for timing and turns hard to get the hands out. Pull oriented approach overall with good hand speed. When on plane the ball get off the barrel quickly. Comprehensive skillset for a potential two-way athlete.
