KJ Dow is a 2022 RHP/IF with a 5-10 159 lb. frame from East Northport, NY who attends St. Dominic. Recorded a 8.27-second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, lean frame with some present strength while continuing to fill out frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, clean arm action coming from a high 3/4 slot while using his entire frame to drive down the mound. Worked fastball up to 78 mph, ranging from 75-78, peppering the outer half against hitters. Some life on fastball, cutting it at times to miss barrels. Slurve shaped breaking ball that he used to generate weak contact. Secondary infielder, with good foot work and range going to his left and right. Slow paced in getting throws off. 79 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, even stance with a high-hand set. Displayed present quickness to hands with feel for the barrel. Impacted the ball through the middle of the field, while showing ability to lift ball at times. Ball will carry more as he adds more strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
