Fitz McClure is a 2028 1B/RHP, 3B, IF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Goochland, VA who attends Goochland. Medium, high waisted frame with plenty of time and room to fill out. Recorded a 8.51 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with a developing defensive skill set. Deliberate footwork into the fielding process; displayed a clean funnel out in-front and some lateral range to either side. Produced fairly clean turns to throw and recorded arm strength up to 70 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery with a slightly coiled leg lift and rotational mechanics down the slope. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 60s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 70 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower that uses the lower half of the strike effectively, will continue to improve with additional velocity and addition of secondary offerings. Right-handed hitter that hits from a closed stance with a tight hand set and toe-tap trigger. Whole field approach with hands driven stroke and developing bat-to-ball skills. Rotational lower half movements into launch with best impact coming thru the middle-of-the field, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
