Carson Allen is a 2026 SS/RHP/UT with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Canyon, TX who attends Canyon. Medium, proportional, projectable, athletic frame with room to add strength. At the plate, starts in a spread out stance. Intent based, pull approach. Shows a flatter bat path with good hand/bat speed. Tends to top-spin balls but when on-time and squares it up he generates gap power to the pull side. Defensively he moves through the baseball well at both the infield and outfield positions. Uses proper foot/glove mechanics, and has carry on his throws to the bases and across the diamond. Could benefit from getting rid of the ball quicker. On the mound his twitchy athleticism plays. Allen gets downhill and is a strike thrower. His arm is quick and works well out of a 3/4 slot. Clocked a 7.5 60-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
