Jesse Dawson is a 2024 SS/C with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Danville, KY who attends Homeschool. Medium and skinny frame with room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.02 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield fielding the ball out in front, moves to the ball with efficient footwork, developing hands that can improve with adjustments to funnel into body, has a clean exchange and an accurate arm. Switch hitter who only took reps from the right side, weight sits on his backside, uses a toe tap trigger for timing, reverse stride into contact with a linear swing path through the zone, will continue to add strength at impact with maturity.
