Payton Knowles is a 2023 SS/C, 2B, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Gig Harbor, WA who attends Gig Harbor. Medium frame with long, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.14 seconds. Hits from spread out, even stance with short and compact stroke, slight loft to swing, good bat speed with impact pull-side, gets the barrel out front, sits into back hip well, projectable hitting tools. Worked out defensively in the infield, works around the ball well and shows clean footwork and good body control, hands work out front, ball comes out clean with quick release, clocked up to 79 mph on throws. Very good student, named to 2021 Rocky Mountain Showcase Top Prospect List.
