Leo Reina is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Boone. A compact and medium frame, lean build. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who had compact and clean actions overall throughout his round. He worked to the ball well and carried momentum through it with clean actions. Had a well put together round of throws during defensive workouts from the outfield. He's a left-handed hitter with a slightly open frame and higher set hands with the back elbow up. He was able to lift the ball well to the pull-side with good carry on his swings. Clean swing overall. He was able to elevate well and looked to pull, being able to execute on that. Loose hands and creates space ith some separation. Showed off some good swings during his round of BP swings. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added a couple of hits in-game as well. Took to the mound as a left-handed pitcher with a leg lift up above the belt, using a longer arm stroke working down the slope. Threw from a three-quarters arm slot and was longer thru the back on his delivery. Fastball was up to 80 mph and had some arm-side run. He showed a curveball with bigger 1-7 shape to it, trusting the pitch a ton. He started it in the zone and let it break below, inducing whiffs. Great feel to spin the breaker. Missed some bats up in the zone with the fastball as well. Showed a changeup as well that he threw arm-side fading off the plate, being able to kill spin well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
