2025 PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO
Jose Doubront is a 2027 3B/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Greenville, SC who attends P27 Academy. Larger, physical frame with a strong lower half and upside remaining. Recorded a 7.31 second sixty-yard dash time. Corner infielder with sound footwork, some lateral range to either side and an accurate arm across. Displayed arm strength up to 81 mph in this look. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even base with a high, tight hand set and hanging leg lift trigger. Creates easy bat speed, engages lower half well to gain leverage out in-front and displayed big time power potential to the pullside. Consistent performer with additional upside remaining, will continue to improve with proper refinements and additional physical maturity. Excellent Student. Named to the PG National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Presented by GEICO Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
