2022 Florida Prospect Showcase
Ethan Szlachetka is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-8 144 lb. frame from Newberry, FL who attends Oak Hall. Slender frame with some athleticism overall. Ran a 7.04 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who fields the ball with two hands uses a short stride and lets it rip. His front side opens up and he lets the arm carry his throws. Had some strength behind the throws. Also worked out as an infielder, and had quick hands on his transfer with throws being on target. Left-handed hitter stayed short to the ball and was able to control the barrel well. Had quick hands and was able to get the barrel to the ball zone. Very good student.
