Weston Todd is a 2028 3B/RHP/C with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Athens, AL who attends Athens Bible. Todd ran a 7.57 Sixty Yard Dash. Primary corner infield with a longer lengthy frame with some strength present. Showing some lateral range in the infield catching the ball cleanly out in front with a quicker glove to hand transfer. The arm slot is low on his throws across with plenty of accuracy to them. Secondary Catcher with a high set inverted foot position, gaining ground while receiving with some quickness within the hip turn. The throws were accurate on a hop on his throw downs. On the mound the right handed pitcher starts with a tight drop step into a belt height leg lift. The actions are very aggressive throughout the operation as he creates some deception throughout. The fastball which sat in the low 80s peaked at 83mph with arm side run. He pairs his fastball with a tight Slider with late horizontal break that has swing and miss ability. Right hand hitter with a wide even foot base into an inward toe tap trigger. The barrel is flat through the zone as he showed some strength to the middle of the field. Weston was named to the 2024 Deep South Top Prospect List.
