Trey Morris is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Fresno, CA who attends Washington Union. Morris works from a physically advanced build with evident strength proportioned throughout. Primary LHP, showcased good rhythm to the delivery with a compact arm action at the back. Commanded the zone well with FB up to 91 mph. Mixed arsenal effectively with good depth to breaker up to 2196 rpm. Killed spin well on CH at 1326 rpm. From 1B, displayed quick transfers with clear feel for the position. Appeared comfortable and made plays with ease, topping out at 91 mph across the diamond. Offensively, started from a balanced open base with a hover trigger into impact. Generated hard contact to the pull side of the field when timed up. Posted an exit velo of 93 mph. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
