Cooper Frisbie is a 2024 RHP/2B, SS with a 6-1 146 lb. frame from Surprise, AZ who attends Willow Canyon. Features a slender build with tons of room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher. Threw exclusively out of stretch. Showcases quick tempo down the mound using drop and drive mechanics. Stays athletic throughout the delivery. Fastball sat 80-84 mph with slight armside run. Projects well for more velocity down the line. Offering works well at the bottom of the zone. Heater pairs with a slider at 69-71 mph with short, slurve action. Has solid bite when spun well. Showed a low-70’s changeup with arm speed deception present. Offering can get hitters out front when located in the zone. Worked out on the infield. Showcased solid range in both directions. Still developing consistent footwork to the catchpoint. Threw 82 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance into a toe tap timing mechanism. Stays through the middle of the field using a simple swing. Swings on a direct path. Has quality feel for the barrel present. Power will continue to develop as more strength is added. Named to the Southwest Prospect Top Prospect List.
