Ben Jones is a 2022 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends C E Jordan. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to fill in and get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow slightly open stance, has simple and repeatable timer that had him on the ball consistently, has good hand quickness and a short and direct swing, hard pull line drive contact, projects well as a hitter with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.41 runner in the sixty, Has very quick hands on defense, smooth and easy glove actions, feet are plenty quick enough and get him in good position to use his hands, profiles best at second base at the next level, fair arm strength. Excellent student.
