Cole Kemp is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Van Buren, MO who attends Van Buren District Secondary. Has a taller frame and an athletic build. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who moves athletically with some momentum to his actions. He fields the ball out front with a clean glove, carrying his momentum through the throws. He had polished fundamentals overall with some strength behind the throws at 84 mph with accuracy as well. He was agile in the outfield during his defense rounds, getting the job done. Switch hitter. As a left-handed hitter who stands in the box with a taller and narrow stance, who keeps his front foot open, getting through the zone with some bat speed. He had leg lift timing. As a right-handed hitter, it was a similar setup, getting his hands to the ball quickly and using his strength to drive it. Has produced an 83 mph exit velocity. A right-handed pitcher uses his frame to work down the mound with a clean and repeatable delivery. He starts with a narrow stance on the mound and square to the plate. He works with some tempo and pounds the zone overall. Pitches from a three-quarters arm slot with medium-length arm action. His fastball spins up to 2229 RPMs with some occasional cut, with the pitch riding through the top of the zone. The right-handed hitter also mixed in a breaking ball with an 11-5 shape to it, spinning it up to 2348 RPMs. Looked good during his outing on the mound. Excellent student.
